Job Details - Sales Administrator

 

Personal attributes:

The job will require the successful candidate to be a multi skilled administrator, as there will be a range of administration duties which includes order processing, invoicing, stock control and filing so good literacy and numeracy skills will be essential.

The job is based at our Sheffield office on London Road, but the candidate should ideally have a driving licence in order to travel to our Dronfield warehouse when required.

Duties will include the preparation and updating of stock and order summary reports accurately and communicating to customers on the telephone and by email.

Good presentation skills are required as the candidate will meet customers and be expected to promote company products to them. The candidate will have to have a sales oriented attitude and be able to work well under pressure, to strict deadlines and conflicting priorities.

Duties will also include liaision with our transport department to ensure that orders are being delivered on time. Forecasting skills and the ability to analyse data and to ensure the stock which is being shipped to us is allocated to customers will also be part of the daily workload.

Computer skills required - Word, Excel. Power Point would be an advantage.

Preferred but not essential : The ability to put together databases for email marketing would be useful.

Good typing/keyboard skills would be useful and shorthand would be a particular advantage.

Salary will be competitive and dependent upon experience.

Hours of work : normally 9.00am -5.30pm Monday to Friday. Some flexibility regarding weekends or Bank Holidays would be expected.

Holidays : 29 days including Bank Holidays.
